As of August 2021 we have been allowed to return to some form of normality for our judo training, we will be remaining vigilant with most of our COVID safety measures still intact but with one major change for the better....
Judo FULL-CONTACT is now permitted for Seniors as well as Juniors. We will have some restrictions in numbers but we have completed the risk assessment required (you can read a copy here: https://tinyurl.com/Honto-Judo-RA) and have increased the numbers for both senior and junior classes for Monday & Thursdays. We will be reverting to our original times and age groups:
MONDAY 6:30pm-7:15pm Junior session 5-7 years old
MONDAY 7:30pm-9:30pm Senior session over 16 years old
THURSDAY 6:30pm-7:15pm Junior session 8-15 years old
THURSDAY 7:30pm-9:30pm Senior session over 16 years old
FRIDAYS are under review at the moment, but hope to be back soon

We will be continuing to use the self declaration form to help us comply with any track & trace requests we may get, so please continue to fill out the form before each class. Alternately we have a QR code to check in to the venue with the NHS app

For insurance purposes every judoka attending session must have a valid judo licence, you can buy a new licence, or renew your current, from the WJA/BJA via their websites

To safely train at Honto Judo:
Renew WJA/BJA licence (Trail licence available for new students)
Pre book and pay via Spond
Fill out our the Self declaration form : https://www.hontojudo.com/class-booking
Arrive at session time (Not earlier than 10 mins)
Arrive in clean judogi, maintain social distance of 2m and wear face covering while outside the Dojo
Sanitise hands on entrance (Scan QR code if you have NHS app)
Enter mat area, Rei & remove footwear before stepping on the mat
Have fun training, stay socially distanced during coaches demonstrations and when not training with your Uki
Help clean equipment used, if any
Exit via the one way system at the rear fire exit doorway
